The venue of the conference is ICRISAT Campus, Patancheru, Hyderabad, India, which is located 27.3 miles (44 Km) from the Airport.
For most people, travelling to the conference will involve either flying or getting the train to Hyderabad and then to the conference venue or your accommodation. The main train station (called Secunderabad Station) is a good orientation point situated right in the centre of the city and there are normally lots of taxis available there.
Hyderabad has an international airport (Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, http://www.hyderabad.aero adjudged the ‘Most Favourite Airport in India’) which has direct flights from Europe, South Asia and Middle East operated by British Airways, Qatar Airways, Emirates Airlines, Singapore/Silk Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Malaysian Airlines, Thai Airways, Air India and several Indian airlines like Jet Airways, IndiGo, GoAir, SpiceJet, AirIndia. In addition, Hyderabad airport has direct flights from all other international/domestic airports in India (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata). Hyderabad airport is well connected by road to the city – AC-buses and taxis are available round the clock. The venue/ any hotel can be reached from Airport in 35 to 45 min.
Participants from abroad after completing registration, should contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com) with their registration ID, passport details and place of Indian High Commission/ Embassy where they plan to apply for visa.
Subsequently we will be sending an invitation letter for applying for BUSINESS or TOURIST visa (NOT CONFERENCE Visa, as it requires more documents).
Also please note that passport holders from following countries can also have the visa on arrival at select Airports in India (please read details at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/tvoa.html).

Information to Participants:
Please note that NO transportation is available to participants (except invited guests) from airport to conference venue/ hotels. Taxi/Auto at airport and all railway stations/bus stands are available round the clock.
For all participants staying in conference designated hotels, transportation would be provided from hotel to conference venue and back to the hotels during the conference days(February 18-20, 2015).
No transportation will be available from conference venue / hotels to any other places during the conference.
